An unascertained number of people have been confirmed dead and trapped as container falls on a bus along Ikorodu, at about 8:30 pm on Sunday.
PUNCH Metro gathered that the unlatched container which was headed to Ikorudu fell on a Bus Rapid Transit on Ikorodu road.

Dr Femi Oke-Osayintolu, Director General of the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency, confirmed the accident, however, was unable to specify the number of casualties. He said;
“We have deployed our men there. I do not know the number of casualties. We are there to move the container and save lives,” he said.
Details of casualties are yet to be confirmed.
