CORONAVIRUS: Kebbi State Discharges Its Index Case

Kebbi State has discharged its first coronavirus patient.

Chairman of the Task Force on COVID-19, Jafar Mohammed made the announcement on Tuesday.

Jafar revealed that the index patient was admitted into the hospital for treatment after contracting the coronavirus and was discharged on Tuesday May 12, after testing negative twice for the virus.

Kebbi state currently has 24 confirmed cases of the coronavirus.
