The Cross Rivers state Governor, Prof Ben Ayade has announced the sum of N1 million naira to be given to anybody with useful information which leads to the capture of Kidnappers and armed robbers in the state.
The latest development in the state was announced on Tuesday at the Executive Council Chambers, Calabar.
The whistle-blowing operation to be conducted under the state commissioner of Police, Hafiz Mohammed Inuwa was named the “Hafiz law”.
The State Governor further revealed that anyone who blows the whistle which leads to the arrest of kidnappers in the state will be entitled to the sum.
The governor further noted that to avoid false reports, proper and through investigation will be conducted into the tip given by whistle-blowers in the state an arrests will only be made after the culprits have been proven guilty beyond reasonable doubt.
