Nollywood actor, Damola Olatunji, has recently responded to his split from his long-term partner and mother of his twin children, Bukola Arugba. The news of their separation was made public by Bukola, who shared the announcement on her Instagram page on Tuesday, May 30.
Damola and Bukola had been in a relationship since 2015 and share two beautiful children together, who happen to be twins. However, in a statement prepared by her legal team and posted on her Instagram page that same Tuesday night, Bukola clarified that she and Damola were never married.
The statement emphasized that their separation was amicable, with no animosity or bitterness involved. It further revealed that despite not being married, the former couple cherishes their two lovely children and will continue to co-parent them.
Shortly after Bukola’s announcement, Damola took to his own Instagram page to share a video, giving a glimpse of his current joyful state and the happiness he is experiencing. In the video, he can be seen living his best life, embracing positivity and expressing gratitude to God.
In the caption accompanying the video, Damola expressed his deep appreciation to God for the renewed hope he feels in his life. This implies that despite the separation, he remains optimistic and looks forward to a bright future.
