Nigerian singer, songwriter David Adedeji Adeleke, popularly known as Davido has officially been declared an ‘Outstanding Georgia Citizen’ at Georgia General Assembly Meeting today, December 1, 2023.
Davido, a Georgian citizen by birth is being recognised by the state for his service to the state. In a letter issued on the 29th of November, 2023 by the Secretary Of The State, Brad Raffensperger, stated the privileges associated with the title, such as being granted every courtesy entitled to a ‘Goodwill Ambassador From Georgia in his travel or residence in other states, and nations beyond the borders of the United State Of America.
It’s all wins for the singer this year, as he won his first Grammy nomination, birthed a set of twins and now being honoured as an outstanding citizen.
