Aye crooner, David Oyeleke popularly known as Davido, can’t hide his support for YBNL act, Lil Kesh to win the coveted Headies “Next Rated” award.
Davido had featured alongside Olamide on the remix of Lil Kesh’s hit single, Shoki.
Keshinro Ololade or Lil Kesh as he is popularly known is up against Reekado Banks, Kiss Daniel, Korede Bello and Cynthia Morgan. The Next Rated is the only award of the 21 categories endowed with a Brand New Car Gift. Davido won the award in 2012 beating Eva Alordia, Chuddy K and Praiz.
Davido took his campaign for the 20 year-old singer to his twitter page. “LIL KESH IS THIS YEARS MVP !!! NEXT RATED HANDS DOWN!!! IF DEM NO GIVE YOU PULL A KANYE ON DEM!!,” he wrote.
Lil Kesh who is yet to release his debut album rose to fame after his singles Shoki and Efejoku received critical acclaim.
