Nigerian disc jockey Ayorinde Kehinde Okiki, popularly known as DJ Kaywise, has released a video addressing the claims made by his family members against his partner, Nelly. This comes hours after DJ Kaywise’s girlfriend, Nenny, raised concerns on social media about an alleged attempt against her by DJ Kaywise’s brother and some staff members who had been let go.
Nenny’s initial account detailed a disturbing incident where individuals, including DJ Kaywise’s brother, visited her home under the pretext of delivering a package. However, their plans were thwarted when DJ Kaywise arrived to collect the delivery instead.
In his response video, DJ Kaywise expressed his disappointment in his family’s handling of the situation, especially given the seriousness of the allegations. He revealed that despite the grave accusations made by his family members, none of them had come forward to clarify the situation or offer a different perspective.
The DJ stated, “Ideally, I was expecting them to say the truth as children of God and as a Christian family, but that never happened.” He went on to explain that the police had been involved in the matter, and it was during their investigation that the true extent of the situation became evident.
DJ Kaywise clarified that he had terminated the employment of everyone involved in the incident, including his twin brother, in 2021 due to their alleged misconduct. He reported the matter to his parents at the time. However, rather than addressing the behavior of those individuals, his family supported them, leading to a rift that resulted in DJ Kaywise cutting ties with his family.
He questioned the motivation behind his family members’ actions and emphasized that he would not make false statements. He stated, “If my family comes out and says I am lying, then I will have no choice than to drop the voice recording from that day and also other receipts that will shock you all.”
In his video, DJ Kaywise underscored his commitment to the truth, maintaining that he would not allow false accusations to tarnish Nelly’s reputation. He expressed his disappointment that his family had not taken a more responsible approach to address the situation, which has garnered significant public attention.
