Nigeria’s Mavin Records, founded by music executive Don Jazzy, marked its 11th anniversary on May 8, 2023. The music legend expressed his appreciation to the label’s fans, supporters, and well-wishers over the years on social media.
To commemorate the milestone, the music producer shared a video compilation of Mavin Records’ current and former signees, including Tiwa Savage, Dr. Sid, Dija, Korede Bello, Rema, Crayon, and others, with a lovely song composed by the label’s present signees playing in the background.
Don Jazzy captioned the post by saying, “My baby is 11 today. They say time flies when you are having fun. I cannot believe it’s 11 years already cos trust me it feels like yesterday.” He added that the label’s family continues to grow from strength to strength, breaking boundaries and making a positive impact on people’s lives. Don Jazzy thanked the label’s fans, brand partners, friends, and well-wishers for their unwavering love and support. He also expressed gratitude to Mavin Records’ team, which he referred to as “the best team in the world,” urging them to remain relentless as the label is just getting started.
