Donald Trump, Wife test positive to COVID-19

United States President, Donald Trump and his wife Melania have both tested positive to Coronavirus disease (COVID-19).

Trump  announced his test result in a tweet.

“Tonight, @FLOTUS and I tested positive for COVID-19, We will begin our quarantine and recovery process immediately. We will get through this TOGETHER!”  tweeted POTUS around 1am on Oct 2.

Although the President’s Physician assured American citizens Trump will make a full recovery from the virus, it is uncertain if he has begun to manifest symptoms and hence how long his recovery would take.

Dr. Sean P Conley said: “The president and first lady are both well at this time, and they plan to remain at home within the White House during their convalescence,”

“Rest assured I expect the president to continue carrying out his duties without disruption while recovering, and I will keep you updated on any future developments.”

According to New York Times, Trump’s COVID-19 test became imperative after Hope Hicks , one of his closest advisers tested positive to the dreaded virus.

The President’s infection has raised concerns  with the Presidential elections coming up on Nov 3.

Trump’s quarantine in the White House may pose a threat to his campaign as the election is 33 days away.
