Dr. Dre Accuses Estranged Wife Nicole Young of Making Up Abuse Claims

American music mogul, Dr. Dre has accused his estranged wife, Nicole Young of digging up his past history of domestic violence in an attempt to get money out of him.

According to TMZ, Dr. Dre has filed new legal documents that claim Young’s abuse claims are false and that she didn’t bring up the allegations until after she seeing that their prenup wouldn’t allow her receive half his wealth.

Back in January, Young revealed that Dre held a gun to her head on two separate occasions in 2000 and 2001, punched her in the face twice, and kicked her down the door of a room she had been “hiding from his rage in 2016.”

Dre and Young’s divorce proceedings escalated in February, when DJ Silk teased an unreleased Dre-KXNG Crooked collaboration on Instagram Live. “Trying to kill me with them lies and that perjury,” Dre raps on the track, before seemingly referring to his ex-wife as a “greedy bitch” and a “bitch and a perjurer.”

In March, a judge denied Young’s request for an emergency restraining order against her estranged husband. Days later, Dre’s attorney Laura Wasser filed a motion for bifurcation, arguing that his ex-wife’s “false allegations of domestic violence” demonstrate that their union is beyond repair.
