American singer and rapper, Drake, has weighed in on the recently held 66th Grammys awards which was on Sunday, February 4th, 2024.

The rapper stated that it is important for every nominated artist to remember that the winnings of each category isn’t based on mere facts, but by opinions of a body of drop who drop their opinions.

In a post which he shared on his Instagram page, he stated “All you incredible artists remember this show isn’t the facts it’s just the opinion of a group of people who’s name are kept a secret 🤫😂 (literally you can google in) congrats to anybody winning anything for hip hop but this show doesn’t dictate shit in our world

Recall that Drake himself is a five-time Grammy winner who recently won at the last year’s Grammy awards.

It is believed that his opinion stems from his dissatisfaction with the 2024 Grammy Awards where he and his collaborator 21 Savage were nominated for four categories but did not win any.

However, certain people criticize the artist’s mockery of the show, stating that regardless of how he implies that the show doesn’t dictate anything in the world of hip-hop, he still submits his music for nomination at each annual nomination process.
