DSTV: Nigerians excited to watch Cable TV channels without subscription

0

Digital Satellite Television popularly known as DSTV has made all channels accessible to all viewers free of charge.

Although the reason for this charitable act is unknown, many subscribers allege the Cable TV was hacked by Anonymous group while others believe DSTV is experiencing a system upgrade, which explains why viewers can access all stations without active subscription

However, Nigerians have taken to Twitter to express their delight at the new development.

@Pog_llyns

I hear say Anonymous don hack DSTV and GOTV and all channels are showing. #EndSARS or more hacking

@King_Chris_Jr

What if Anonymous never hacked DSTV and the Government did it to make us lose focus about the #EndSARS movement. Fink about it

DSTV Nigerians excited

@ayemojubar

DSTV / GOTV denied being hacked when people can watch all stations free. It’s OK, we are fine then. #EndSARS

@iam__Ella

As DS TV and GOTV channels all showing, pls don’t get distracted, don’t lose focus in the #EndSARS  #EndPoliceBrutalityinNigeria protest… It’s a trap from the government… DON’T LOSE FOCUS

@vhic_tore

#EndSARS

@UncleBayotics

To whoever hacked DS TV, please help me hack my school portal and change my CGPA please 🙏🏿😭

@DrOlufunmilayo

Check your DSTV and GoTV.

All the channels are showing irrespective of subscription.

Thank you Anon.

If this was an #EndSARS gift.

@IamAyoOgunleye

Dstv is not hacked, they are doing maintenance. Maintenance to tighten encryption, to tighten encryption, you have to ease up ,

A lot of complaints made them open all channels, it will be scrambled after maintenance

@tommy_viccetti

DS TV and GOTV was not hacked. Multichoice are doing some kinda upgrade. So enjoy the free channels for now. #EndSARS

@iamjerrygnex

Multichoice that increased subscription twice during the lockdown will now give y’all the stations. Anonymous for President, CBN next, we need our real Covid palliatives.
