EndSARS protesters block Alausa Secretariat

Lagos State civil servants were on Monday morning prevented from accessing the state secretariat by EndSARS protesters.

The protesters were said to have blocked all access and exit routes, preventing more motorists and pedestrians from gaining entrance or exiting the premises.

Many commuters were also said to been stranded as many commercial vehicles operating in the Ikeja area shelved operation.

The protests also affected other areas including Awolowo Road, Ikeja; Lagos-Ibadan Expressway; Ikorodu Road; LASU-Iba Road by Isheri-Roundabout, Egbe-Idimu Local Council Development Area, LCDA.

For two weeks, Nigerian youths have been occupying major cities across the country to press home their demand for an end to police brutality.

The EndSARS protesters have vowed not to leave the streets until their demands are met.
