IT is turning into a daily routine to have Nigerian police officers exposed ‘doing their thing’ which happens to be harassing members of the general public into dishing out bribes and gratis.
The author of this post was accosted twice for a bribe just this weekend by two separate members of the Policing community. Perhaps it is time, the IG of Police sat up and took stringent action to stamp out this malaise in the force. It cannot be so difficult to get rid of orruption amongst the rank and file, unless….
