Manchester United breezed into the semifinals of the Emirates FA Cup on Sunday evening with a late winner against Liverpool in extra time to ensure they continue their winning streak against their old rivals in the competition.
The game seemed to be heading to penalty kicks with score at 3-3 but forward Amad Diallo grabbed a late goal for United before he was handed a second yellow card and therefore sent off for pulling his jersey in goal celebrations.
United forward Marcus Rashford spurned a great chance to win it with the final kick as the game headed towards extra time.
Liverpool sub Harvey Elliott thought he had won it for Liverpool in the 105th-minute goal but Rashford redeemed himself with a cool finish eight minutes before full time in extra time.
Amad Diallo then sealed the win with the late goal after a counter attacking move that saw him combine with with Alejandro Garnacho sparking wild scenes in the Old Trafford stands.
