Football fans are highly opinionated, grossly sentimental, and tend to become livid when certain decisions don’t go their way. Case in point is the recent tantrums thrown by the Ronaldo fan base when their Idol lost out to former teammate, Luca Modric, for the UEFA best player Award.
Well, it would seem this is the turn for Messi fans to join in the trend as they have angrily reacted after his (Messi) name was omitted from the FIFA Best Men’s Player award.
Lionel Messi’s fans looked on with disbelief after FIFA announced that the Barcelona star has not been included in their shortlist for The Best Men’s Player award.
This is the first time in 12 years that the diminutive magician was omitted from the final three.
Luka Modric, Mohamed Salah and Cristiano Ronaldo made up the trio on the shortlist.
