The former minister of aviation is in deeper trouble with anti-graft agency, EFCC, as the agency has secured yet another order to remand him further.
The order was granted to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission on Monday, 23 April by the Lagos State Magistrate court sitting in Ikeja.
Recall that the EFCC had prior to this order secured a first order allowing the agency to remand the former aviation minister for 14 days pending the result of investigations conducted into his connection with the Goodluck Jonathan campaign fund scandal.
The EFCC in the new court order has been granted the permission to hold Femi Fani-Kayode for another 21 days pending his arraignment at a proper court.
