Hope Uzodinma, Governor-elect of Imo state and Senator Rochas Okorocha who have been at loggerheads since the former supported his son-in-law in the last gubernatorial poll, have reconciled.
The political feud began when Senator Rochas Okorocha, former Imo state governor withdrew support from Uzodinma, throwing his weight behind his son-in-law Uche Nwosu, Action Alliance (AA) governorship candidate in the last March 2019 Imo gubernatorial poll.
Uzodinma had felt betrayed by Okorocha. This led to a political feud between the top Imo politicians.
However, Hope Uzodinma was declared Governor in a verdict of the Supreme court on Tuesday, Jan 14, 2020.
In a video shared on the party’s social media page, Adam’s Oshiomhole, National Chairman of the ruling party reconciled both parties. The two parties shook hands amid laughter. This elicited cheers from other political supporters present.
