Fresh off the heels of the Grammy Awards, Nigerian music star Fireboy DML is making headlines with exciting plans for both his music and acting careers.
In a recent interview with Rolling Stone, Fireboy revealed he’s nearing completion on his highly anticipated new album. He shared his desire to immerse himself in the Los Angeles music scene and draw inspiration from the city’s vibrant energy for the album’s final touches.
Fireboy also hinted at the introspective nature of the new project. Reflecting on his experiences over the past year, he emphasized a newfound focus on what truly matters.
“Last year has really taught me the importance of focusing on the things that matter,” Fireboy told Rolling Stone. “When you get successful and get the glamor and glitz of it all, it has a way of almost making you lose sight of the things that are really important. Last year was a long learning process for me and I took all those lessons and it’s going to reflect in the album.“
But the surprises didn’t stop there. In a separate interview with Billboard, Fireboy dropped another bombshell – his intention to explore acting. He expressed his eagerness to delve into this new creative avenue, marking a potential turning point in his career.
“I am also going into the movie industry, I am going into acting,” Fireboy declared to Billboard.
