Former Governorship Candidate Arrested for Attending Funke Akindele’s Party

A former Governorship Candidate for Lagos State, Mr. Babatunde Gbadamosi has been arrested by the Lagos state police command for attending a party organised by Funke Akindele.

His attendance at the party was in violation of the lockdown order declared by the state government to contain the spread of Coronavirus.

Mr. Gbadamosi was seen in a viral video attending a party organised by Nollywood actress, Funke Akindele-Bello.

Funke Akindele-Bello has organised a birthday party for her husband Abdul-Rasheed Bello, in the middle of a Coronavirus lockdown.

The actress and her husband were attested and charged to court after which they were sentenced to 14 days of community service and a fine of #100,000.

They were also sentenced to a 14 day isolation period in a facility selected by the Lagos State Government.

A police source confirmed the arrest saying the Lagos State Government will prosecute everyone who attended the party.
