Former NSA, Sambo Dasuki Gets Two Months Break From Ongoing Trial

The Former National Security Adviser (NSA), Sambo Dasuki has been giving a slight break by the court in his ongoing trial.

Sambo Dasuki along with the former Director of Finance and Administration, office of the National Security Adviser, Shuaibu Salisu; former General Manager, Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), Aminu Babakusa and two firms: Acacia Holdings Limited and Reliance Referral Hospital Limited are being tried in connection with the N13.5 billion money laundering charge.

The case has therefore been adjourned to October 5th.

The new date set for the commencement of the trial against the former National Security Adviser gives him an ample time of two months to get together his legal team.

The case was adjourned following the commencement of the annual vacation of the courts in Nigeria.

The vacation according embarked upon by the courts according to the Chief Registrar of the Federal High Court Abuja, Mr Emmanuel Gako will end on September 9.
