The incident involving a car crashing into a building in Lagos State at the early hours of Sunday, November 19, 2023 has resulted in four male adults sustaining severe injuries.
The Herald reports that the accident, which occurred along Liasu road in the Idimu area of Lagos involved a Lexus car that was reportedly moving at top speed when it lost control, swerved off the road, and collided with a shop opposite a Catholic church.
The impact of the crash also caused damage to a building behind the shop, affecting some of its sleeping occupants. Injured victims have been taken to the hospital for treatment, while the driver, who escaped unhurt, was apprehended by residents as he attempted to flee the scene.
