The Governor of Rivers State, Sir Siminalayi Fubara, approved N100,000 as Christmas bonus for the state’s civil servants on the state payroll.
Rivers Commissioner for Information and Communications, Warisenibo Joe Johnson disclosed this in a terse Tuesday statement.
The commissioner said the governor gave the approval on Tuesday for immediate implementation to enable the civil servants to have a wonderful yuletide celebration.
