Newly-minted General Overseer, Yul Edochie has said that getting to the finals of the African Cup of Nations (AFCON) 2023 is as good as winning the trophy.
The actor-turned-pastor said this in a Facebook post after the Super Eagles of Nigeria lost 2-1 to the Elephants of Cote d’Ivoire in the AFCON 2023 final on Sunday night.
“It is well. Thank you, Super Eagles. @ng_supereagles. Getting to the finals is as good as winning. We’re proud of you all. Great performance in the tournament,” Edochie said.
Before the game, Edochie, the GO of True Salvation Ministry, had predicted a victory for the Super Eagles, a prediction that did not come to pass.
