The Chairman of the All Progressive Congress, APC, Ward 4, Omoku, Headquarters of Ogba Egbema Ndoni Local Government Area, Mr. Frankline Obi was yesterday night beheaded.
His wife, Ihuoma along with their 18-year-old first son, Master Bestman were also killed.
The Rivers state Police Commissioner, Mr. Musa Kimo was at the residence of the deceased’s family to pay his condolences to them on the loss of their family members.
He expressed deep pain over the sad incident and called for cooperation between the communities and the Police in other to fish out the perpetrators of such evil and wipe out miscreants from the state.
“Probably if they called the Police the killers could have been arrested. At least they were there for about twenty minutes before they left” he lamented.
The surviving son, Victory, while being condoled by Mr. Musa explained to the state Commissioner of Police that he saw the gunmen behead his father.
