Boko Haram Terrorists on Horseback killed two farmers and abducted two others outside Maiduguri on Friday.
According to reports from local sources, the terrorists rode into Amu village on the outskirts of the capital city of Borno State on horses and caught the four farmers unawares as they worked on their field.
Two of them were hacked to death with matchetes while the other two were abducted with matchete cuts.
According to a member of the civilian JTF militia supporting the Nigerian military against Boko Haram, Mohammed Bukar,
“We recovered the bodies of the two slain farmers, bearing deep machete wounds to the head and torso. Farmers who escaped the assault said two others were injured and abducted by the attackers.”
The farmers were said to be from an IDP camp in the outskirts of Maiduguri who grew crops in the village.
Boko Haram terrorists have increasingly targeted farmers, Fishermen, loggers and herdsmen, accusing them of spying for the Nigerian government.
