Thomas Markle, Meghan Markle’s father has spoken out, stating that he is worried about his daughter and feels she’s struggling to adjust to royal life.
The father to the new Royal stated that his daughter’s smile is pained and that it worries him.
Speaking to the Sun, he said: ‘I can see it in her eyes, I see it in her face and I see it in her smile. I’ve seen her smile for years. I know her smile. I don’t like the one I’m seeing now,’
The former Hollywood actress was thrust onto a higher, more ridiculous level of celebrity when she got married to Prince Harry and now is living under intense scrutiny, a lifestyle that has been known to take its toll on individuals.
Thomas Markle did not make the wedding after it was revealed that he took some staged photos prior to the wedding to look good, a move that turned into a PR disaster.
Meghan Markle’s estranged sister, Samantha, had attempted to take the heat off her father stating; “The bad press over my father doing staged photos is my fault.
“The media was unfairly making him look bad so I suggested he do positive photos for his benefit and the benefit of the royal family.
“We had no idea he would be taken advantage of. It was not for money.”
Earlier, Meghan Markle was seen at Wimbledon with Kate Middleton, cheering on friend and tennis legend Serena Williams who was playing a game.
