Anita, the former wife of singer, Paul Okoye of the PSquare music group, has revealed that she suffered four miscarriages, giving a rare insight into life as the popular musician’s spouse.
She made the revelation in an Instagram post on Wednesday, when she shared a flier for a Nigerian movie titled, ‘The Wait.’
She wrote, “This movie had me on a rollercoaster of emotions. Having gone through four miscarriages myself, it undoubtedly reopened closed wounds. But look at me today.
“There is truly purpose in ‘The Wait’ and it truly is ‘WorthTheWait’. I am aware that occasionally silence can be unbearably loud. Trust God in his infinite mercy will (not) forsake you and it’s truly (a) privilege to #waitonGod. I am a living testimony.”

Anita and Paul Okoye got married in 2014, after dating for 10 years.
She filed for divorce from the musician, also known as Rude Boy, in August 2021, eight years into their marriage.
In papers filed to support the divorce proceedings before a high court in Abuja, she claimed that cheating, separation, being an absent father, fraud, and difficult experiences were her major reasons for seeking a divorce.
The divorce was completed in 2022.
