Manchester City manager, Pep Guardiola has laughed off claims by Dani Alves’ claim that the Spaniard’s coaching is ‘better than sex’
When asked about it, Guardiola laughed and said: “I prefer the sex – by far!”
Alves made the comment in the new Barcelona film ‘Take the Ball, Pass the Ball’.
Alves is one of the most decorated footballers of all time with a haul of trophies while at Barcelona and a Serie A title with Juventus and another with PSG
Guardiola is preparing his team for a Manchester derby which takes place this weekend and speaking ahead of it, the Premier League winner was asked about it. He also took a swipe at Zlatan Ibrahimovic whom he fell out with during his time at Barcelona after getting the striker from Inter Milan.
He said: “I prefer the sex by far,”
“I can see a huge list that is the opposite side, a list where they love me a lot, and Dani is one of them.
“But the other side, in Sweden and other places, they don’t like me as much. Normally the people who don’t play regularly, they are not fans.
“We try to convince them – sometimes yes, sometimes no.”
