Nigerian Rapper and Actor, Ikechukwu Onunaku who is popularly known as Ikechukwu, has leveled allegations against the Special Anti Robbery Squad (SARS) operatives, saying they attacked him on Wednesday night, at the Lekki Phase 1 area of Lagos state.
In an Instagram post, the Rapper narrated his ordeal where he allegedly suffered inhumane treatment in the hands of these SARS operatives.
Ikechukwu said that he was pulled out of the Uber vehicle he boarded and was bundled into a Hilux van which later drove him to Lagos island.
Also, the “Wedding Party” Actor wrote that he was coerced to empty his ATM account after he had been constantly assaulted, despite being recognized as a popular personality.

He further said the SARS operatives bragged of working closely with Wazobia FM and would not hesitate to implicate him if he proved stubborn.
However, Ikechukwu has vowed to uncover the true identities of his alleged attackers and bring them to justice.

Nigerian celebrities such as Praiz, Dr. Sid, Reekado Banks have also been victims of alleged inhumane treatment from SARS. Nigerian citizens have an advocacy group # ENDSARS, opposing the Special Anti Robbery Squad (SARS), which is a unit division on the Nigeria Police Force.
