The Imo State Governor, Rochas Okorocha has declared a total of three weeks holiday in the state.
The three-weeks of holiday declaration comes as indigenes of the state prepare for the Christmas and New Year celebrations.
The holiday according to the Imo State Governor will begin officially on the 19th of December, 2016 and run through till 10th of January, 2017.
The declaration was made by the Governor over the weekend while celebrating the Imo Day thanksgiving service.
