The Governor of Bayelsa State, Douye Diri on Tuesday played host to General Overseer of The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adeboye at the Government House, Yenagoa.
Diri shared photos of the visit in a Facebook post.
He captioned the photos: “This afternoon in my office at Government House, Yenagoa, I received our father in the Lord, a global minister of God, Pastor E. A. Adeboye, popularly known as “Daddy G. O” of the Redeemed Christian Church of God who is in the State for a 2-day programme, “Light up Bayelsa Holy Ghost Rally.”
“I welcome Daddy G. O back to his own State and surely, with this visit, Bayelsa will never remain the same again.
Let me officially on behalf of my family, the Deputy Governor, Senator Lawrence Ewhrudjakpo, the government and great people of Bayelsa State welcome you and your entourage to “The Glory of all Lands” and urge our people to be part of this power-packed divine encounter.”
