Revered cleric, Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye says that despite hitting the age of 71, his wife has remained unchanged since the day he met her.
He said it was therefore not a surprise that everyone but him knew that she had added another year.
Adeboye, who is the General Overseer of The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), said this in a teasing message to his wife of 52 years, Pastor (Mrs) Folu Adeboye, today.
Daddy GO, as Adeboye is fondly called, described his Mummy GO as “my support system, my sweetheart, (and) my one and only”.
The short message shared on Adeboye’s verified Twitter handle read: “To My support system, My sweetheart, My one and only, It seems that everyone knows you turned a year older except me. In my eyes, you are exactly the way that you were when I met you for the first time – stunning and gorgeous. Happy Birthday aya mi @pastorfoluadeboye #MGO71“

The church also organised a small birthday party for the general overseer’s wife.
