If you’ve been wondering whether South African rappers Cassper Nyovest and his arch-rival, AKA will ever make up seeing that they are currently beefing each other, it will interest you to know that Cassper in a recent interview with MTV Base behind the Story said he has ‘moved on’ from the beef.

‘I don’t wanna talk about it anymore. It’s not gonna end, man. This is one of the most important interviews of my life and I don’t want the highlight to the interview to be Kiernan (AKA). It’s over for me.’

Going further, the Doc Shebeleza hit maker was asked If he sees himself and AKA ever making up he answered, ‘It’s over for me… I’m far ahead of all of my fights and beef, I’m far, man. I just had a meeting with the minister; I mean two hours before this interview. I’m talking about how we’re going to inspire kids and how we’re going to change the country, and I think I’m just putting stains on something beautiful by entertaining that thing.’

He also said though he has moved on from the beef, it doesn’t mean he and AKA will become buddies. ‘It’s not squashed. Squashed would mean that we get along or we tolerate each other. No, I am moving on, leaving it. I’m the one who’s leaving it… If he decides to carry on performing Composure, it’s for him and it will make him happy.’

To show that he’s moving on, Cassper added that that he’ll never perform his diss track Dust 2 Dust ever again. ‘Same way I left performing beef, it’s over. I left it’
