Iyabo Ojo Addresses DNA Test Requests in Mohbad’s Case, Labels it a Distraction

Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo has dismissed the ongoing clamor for a DNA test in the case of the late singer Mohbad’s son, Liam, emphasizing that it is not a component of the justice pursuit.

During a live session on Instagram, Iyabo expressed her disinterest in uncovering the biological father of the child. She asserted that the paternity test is a considerable distraction and does not align with the quest for justice in Mohbad’s case.

“DNA was not part of our justice for Mohbad, so it doesn’t really concern us. But his father came out to say he wants DNA because that was one of the distractions and narratives they brought out, and he wants them to do it since they want to do it,” Iyabo clarified.

While acknowledging the late singer’s father, James Aloba’s request for a DNA test, Iyabo highlighted that DNA matters are a family concern and do not contribute to achieving justice for Mohbad.
