The Anambra State Police Command says it has arrested two operators of the boat conveying late actor, Junior Pope and three of his colleagues before their drowning.
Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) in the state, SP Tochukwu Ikenga, confirmed the arrest on Saturday.
The police spokesman disclosed that the boat operators were in police custody concerning the mishap.
He further disclosed that the movie producer, Adanma Luke, had voluntarily turned herself in, noting that other members of the cast and crew of the movie would be invited for questioning.
Ikenga assured that the police would ensure that a thorough investigation is conducted to get to the root of the matter.
Junior Pope and his colleagues reportedly drowned on Wednesday when their boat capsized on Anam River, Anambra State, while returning from a filming location on the River Niger.
