The Edo State House of Assembly has impeached Deputy Governor, Philip Shaibu.
The embattled deputy governor was impeached on Monday following the adoption of the report of the seven-man investigative panel set up by the state’s Chief Judge to probe allegations of misconduct against him.
Recall that Shaibu has filed a suit at the Federal High Court seeking to stop his impeachment.
Justice I. E. Ekwo on March 28 adjourned sitting on the suit till today, April 8.
