Adamu Mohammed, the elder brother of Bauchi State Governor, Bala Mohammed, has been kidnapped.
He was kidnapped at 7:30 p.m on Wednesday at Anguwar Jaki in Bauchi metropolis and whisked away to an unknown destination, Channels TV reported.
A Senior Special Assistant to the governor confirmed Adamu’s kidnap.
The motive for the kidnapping remains unknown, and it was not immediately clear if the assailants have contacted the victim’s family for any demand.
