Results of scans carried out to ascertain Harry Kane’s injury are out. Sadly, the Spurs talisman will be on the sidelines for some weeks. He is reported to be suffering from damaged ligaments after getting into a tackle with Manchester United’s defenders in their last match.

As the match ended, the England player quickly limped off the pitch. His coach, Pochettino later mentioned his fears for him during his post-match interview with newsmen.

Although, swift medical actions will be taken to ensure that Kane is back on his feet again. However, he won’t be participating in any competitive match until the first weekend in March.

The England striker will not join the team that will play against Chelsea in the second leg of the Carabao semi-final clash on the 24th. And should his team progress, he will not be present for the final match as well, since it will be played in February.

Another set of key games Kane will miss are the two legs of the round of 16 stages in the Uefa Champions League.

Pochettino will now have to consider Fernando Llorente as a replacement for Kane for the upcoming crunch fixtures.
