Kanye West Reignites Feud with Drake, Calls Him “Devil’s Minion”

The longstanding feud between Kanye West and Drake has been reignited, with West making bold claims regarding Drake’s alleged affiliations and motivations in a recent interview.

Speaking on The Download podcast with Justin Laboy, West delved into the origins of his latest track, a remix of Future and Metro Boomin’s “Like That,” which takes direct shots at Drake and J. Cole. West asserted that the rap war currently underway is akin to “the elimination of Drake,” highlighting the intensity of the ongoing conflict.

West took aim at Drake’s reported $400 million deal with Universal Music Group (UMG), suggesting that the agreement came at the expense of Drake’s artistic autonomy and spiritual integrity. He referred to UMG CEO Lucian Grainge as Drake’s “rich baby daddy,” insinuating that Grainge’s influence extends beyond the music industry into realms of financial and spiritual manipulation.

Drake has a rich baby daddy named Lucian and Universal,” West claimed. “He’s like, ‘Man, my daddy got it!’ You know what I’m saying? ‘My daddy control the spins! My daddy got the DSPs!’ Drake has a rich baby daddy. Lucian work for the people who control the banks in Africa.

West also hinted at a deeper, metaphysical rift between himself and Drake, suggesting that Drake’s actions are influenced by forces beyond mere mortal conflict. He likened Drake’s purported betrayal to a pact with the devil, insinuating that Drake has forsaken divine alignment in favor of antagonism towards West.

It cuts Drake’s soul,” West asserted. “It’s like he signed his soul to the Devil to not be cool with me. This is his job, to go against God.

This is not the first time West and Drake have been embroiled in a public feud. The two rappers have a history of clashes dating back several years. Their brief reconciliation at the 2021 Free Larry Hoover Benefit Concert appears to be a distant memory.
