President Muhammadu Buhari has nominated Festus Keyamo (SAN) to represent Delta state on the board of the Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation (NDIC).
The popular lawyer is one of seven appointees sent to the Senate by the president, according to a letter read at Tuesday’s plenary by Senate President Bukola Saraki.
The latest appointment is coming barely a month after Keyamo was named the Director of Strategic Communications of the President Muhammadu Buhari Campaign Organisation for the 2019 presidential election.
Chief Olabode Akeem Mustapha (Chairman, Ogun State), Alhaji Garba Buba (Member, Bauchi State) Bello Garba (Member, Sokoto State) Brigadier-General Joseph O.J Okalogu (Member, Enugu State), Mustapha Adewale Mudashiru (Member, Kwara State), Mr Adewale W. Adeleke (Member, Ondo State).
The nominations are to be approved by the senate before they can take effect.
