Reality TV star Kim Kardashian West offered some insight into her highly publicized divorce from rapper and entrepreneur Kanye West.
In a recent interview, Kardashian West acknowledged West’s talent and achievements. However, she indicated that the couple’s priorities and lifestyles ultimately diverged.
“There’s no doubt Kanye is incredibly creative and successful,” Kardashian West said. “We built a beautiful life together, and I’ll always cherish the memories. But ultimately, we wanted different things for the future.“
The couple officially divorced in November 2022, citing irreconcilable differences. They continue to co-parent their four children.
Kardashian West did not elaborate on the specifics of their differing priorities. However, West has made headlines recently for his outspoken personality and business ventures, which may have clashed with Kardashian West’s focus on family and brand management.
