Popular Nigerian dancer and social media influencer, Korra Obidi has been left heartbroken after she was denied American citizenship.
Obidi, who was married to American doctor, Justin Dean, has been living in the United States for the past few years.
However, her application for citizenship was recently denied by the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS).
While the reasons for her application’s denial remain unclear, the 32-year-old Delta state-born singer released a video capturing her emotional response upon receiving the letter informing her of the decision.
Recall that her marital issue leading to divorce, shortly after the birth of her second child (Athena) with Justin, had trended on social media.
Obidi alleged that her ex-husband had called her names, and she in turn said she regretted birthing their child June.
