Lagos state Government Shuts Down NLPC PFA Building For Burning Waste

Lagos State Government has shut down the NLPC Pension Fund building in Ikorodu, after reports of the Pension Fund’s engagement in waste burning, an act which contravenes Part III, Section 85910 and Part IV S120(1) a-b of the Environmental Protection Law of Lagos state.

The Lagos Waste Management Authority made this disclosure in a tweet via their official twitter handle @Lawma_gov

“Today, we sealed the NLPC Pension’s office at Ikorodu Road, for engaging in waste burning, a serious environmental offence.

“We urge all residents and businesses in the state to desist from acts capable of endangering human health and well-being” the tweet read.
