Nigerian Afrobeats star Oxlade, known for his catchy tunes, has opened up about the financial and personal consequences of his leaked sex tape in 2022.
In a recent interview on the Afrobeats Intelligence Podcast, Oxlade revealed he was blackmailed with the video before it was leaked online. While admitting initial relief when the tape became public, he acknowledged the negative impact on various aspects of his life.
The leaked video resulted in the loss of endorsement deals exceeding N400 million, a significant financial blow. Oxlade also acknowledged the damage to his brand and the toll it took on his family and mental health.
