American comedian, Mike Goodwin says life without his late dad, who is due for burial today, would be ‘different’.
The comedian stated this in a Facebook post eulogizing his dad, whom he affectionately called ‘Super Mike’.
He described his late dad as the “strongest man” he ever knew while recalling the huge influence he had on shaping his life.
“Today as I prepare to lay the strongest man I’ve known to rest, I wanted to share a few of my thoughts.
“My dad’s nickname was Super Mike and I believe it’s one of the best ways to describe him. He was a man’s man and I’m not the man I am today without his influence. My dad was one of one. The impact he had on my life is immeasurable.
“Today is going to be difficult. Life without him will be different. But the one thing that will not change is the pride I will continue to carry in the name Michael Goodwin.
“I love you Big Guy!” Mike Goodwin wrote.
