Didier Deschamps, Manager of the French national team has come out to say that his team were just not clinical enough against Portugal.
The French lost to Portugal by a lone goal costing them their first national title since 2000.
“I have to congratulate Portugal,” Deschamps told the media in his post-match press conference.
“Clearly we had our opportunities and we weren’t clinical enough”, he added.
Eder was Portugal’s hero on the night scoring deep in extra time to win the title for the Portuguese.
