Jose Mourinho has been urged to start Marcus Rashford in Saturday’s derby after the striker scored a hat-trick in his England Under-21s debut.

The 18-year-old, who was dropped from England’s senior squad by Sam Allardyce, opened the scoring after 29 minutes in Tuesday’s 6-1 win over Norway.

Rashford showed blistering pace to get on the end of Nathan Chalobah’s deflected pass before shooting low into the corner of the net.

The striker added a second with a neatly curled finish after the break before completing his treble from the penalty spot.

The striker has only played 18 minutes in the Premier League this season but he scored the late winner against Hull City before the international break.
