Micheal Eneramo mutually terminates contract with Besiktas

Turkish side  Besiktas have announced the termination of their contract with striker Michael Eneramo.

“Beşiktaş and their 29-year old Nigerian striker Michael Eneramo have mutually agreed to terminate their contract, Eneramo will join Başakşehir on a free transfer,” the announcement read.

Micheal Eneramo started his football career with Lobi Star (a youth football club in Nigeria), in 2004, he moved on to Turkey having been scouted by  Espérance Sportive de Tunis.

‘The Tank’ as he’s fondly called spent most time of his career playing for football clubs in Turkey. In 2013, he signed a 2-year deal worth €1.2 million(per season) with Besiktas.

With about 10 months left in the Black Eagle’s deal with Eneramo, reports claim he has signed a new transfer deal with another Turkish club, Istanbul Başakşehirspor.

In the agreement reached, the Nigerian will receive a €500,000 compensation fee from Besiktas, while Basaksehirspor will pay up the
rest of the fee (€700.000).
