Mr. 2kay who was the ‘talk of the town’ after an incident in which he was robbed by thugs linked to Burna Boy has recently made a statement in response to criticism and speculation about the worth of the items taken. Particularly he’s responded to Shina Peller the owner of Quilox who remarks about Mr. 2 kay ‘not being rich enough to own the items.’

Among the items allegedly taken were a Swiss Audemars Piguet, an automatic gold wristwatch, valued at $25,000; gold jewellery valued at N1.5 million; an iPhone 7, valued at N380,000, a Samsung Galaxy S7, valued at N240,000; Samsung Galaxy S5, worth N110,000; Adidas shoes, N75,000; three bottles of perfume, N180,000, and a cash sum of N45,000.

There is speculation that the price of the wristwatch is a façade and a scheme of Mr. 2kay to enrich himself.

Shina Peller in an interview with HIPTV stated “Mr 2kay wasn’t rich enough to possess such an expensive accessory.

Mr 2kay in response in an interview with Showtime said that: “I feel nothing about it because I’m blessed; everybody is entitled to their own opinion so what he said is his own opinion, I have nothing against him and I don’t care because I’m blessed by the grace of God.”
